Jones recently completed therapy at Life Care Center of Gwinnett, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center run by Life Care Centers of America in Lawrenceville. The company manages more than 200 centers around the country and publishes a handful of residents’ life stories each year in its LEADER magazine....

First, let me start by saying this experience has been both humbling and life-changing. I never needed therapy until recently, when I developed diabetic ulcers on both ankles back in November 2015. This was very painful and prevented me from walking because of the muscles and lack of confidence within myself. I basically had to crawl like a baby to go up and down stairs.

Spring may have sprung outside, but Life Care Center of Gwinnett [in Lawrenceville, Georgia] was a winter wonderland Friday afternoon.

The dining room glittered and glowed with silver streamers and blue twinkling lights as nine lovely ladies made their way to the front of the room to compete in the 10th Annual Ms. LCCG Pageant.

On March 26, 2015, Calvin Gunter, a resident at Life Care Center of Gwinnett in Lawrenceville, Georgia, got to meet one of his heroes.

John Smoltz, pitcher for the Atlanta Braves from 1988-2008, stopped by to visit one of his most devoted fans. Smoltz will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in July.
